Peace & Planet — Mobilization for a Nuclear-free, Peaceful, Just and Sustainable World

Join! — Three days of discussion and action on the eve of the 2015 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference at the UN, linking the peace, anti-nuclear, and climate and environmental justice movements. This NYC-based event, with parallel events around the world this weekend, is organized by representatives from dozens of U.S. and international peace, anti-nuclear, and environmental organizations.

Read, Sign, and Share! — The Call to Action, the Petition for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, and the Nuclear Zero lawsuits of the Marshall Islands.

Take Part! — in conference plenaries and workshops on Friday and Saturday, April 24-25, then join Sunday’s rally, march, and festival on April 26.

Find details about Peace & Planet on Facebook. And on the crucially important topic of the deep connections between climate change and war, please read a major statement — Stop the Wars, Stop the Warming! An Appeal from the Peace and Climate Movements — written by folks in both movements during mobilization efforts for the September 21, 2014 People’s Climate March.

The route of the Peace & Planet March, Sunday, April 26. Begin with the 1 pm rally, Union Square North, then march at 2 pm to the festival near the UN, 3-6 pm.
