BCJN Forum Bridge

Don’t miss Bronx Climate Justice North’s FIRST MAJOR PUBLIC EVENT (co-hosted by the Manhattan College Center for Urban Resilience and Environmental Sustainability), coming up on Saturday, November 14, 2-5 pm. Doors open at 1:45 — this is a free event.

Come hear a fascinating panel including Keynote Speaker Ray Figueroa, President of NYC Community Garden Coalition, Lisa DiCaprio, NYU Prof., who will speak about boiler conversions and the importance of NOT converting to natural gas, Chris Neidl, Director of Solar One, John Reilly, of the amazing Fordham Bedford Housing Corporation, which has been renovating and building green, affordable housing for seniors and other vulnerable groups in the Bronx for decades, and Migdalia Taveras, Executive Director of BEST Academy, Sustainable South Bronx. Ms. Taveras will provide details about dynamic programs that are training a Bronx green workforce.

Please visit the forum Facebook event page HERE — RSVP and invite your FB friends.
